The Power Solutions business sector develops and manufactures innovative technologies for the entire powertrain in the market segments of electrification, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles. At the Bosch Engineering Center Linz, we develop software and hardware for the powertrain and components for sustainable and climate-neutral energy systems for our international customers. In addition, we support the organization in software development through qualification measures, consulting, and direct involvement of our experts in strategically important digitization projects.

We are hiring! To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist – Qualification Coordinator (full-time – 38.5 hours/week).

Job Description

Shaping the future: In an interdisciplinary and international team, you play a central role in promoting digital skills and competencies of employees in the business area.

Inspiring enthusiasm: You develop and oversee innovative training programs with a focus on Data Science to meet the changing requirements of our company.

Taking responsibility: Together with colleagues from the qualification team, you create and curate training materials (e.g. online courses, webinars, and collaborations with universities) from both external and internal sources, actively shaping the continuous improvement of training programs.

Staying up-to-date: Together with cross-functional teams, you regularly evaluate specific digital qualification opportunities, respond to internal and external changes, and ensure that our programs remain at the forefront of industry standards.

Qualifications

Personality: You are a team player, characterized by a structured, independent, and analytical work style, and are passionate about continuous learning and lifelong education.

Know-how and experience: You bring in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of Data Science and can provide insights into current industry trends. You are skilled in project management and possess good communication and presentation skills.

Education and languages: You have completed a university degree (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar) as well as very good German and English language skills. Experience in designing and supervising training programs (e.g. tutoring activities) is a clear advantage.

In addition to all the benefits already mentioned, it is important for us to offer an attractive compensation package. The gross salary is at least €52,430 per year (including 13th & 14th salary, 38.5 hours/week, collective agreement for the metal industry). Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, there is a willingness to significantly exceed this amount.
