During the Design Judging Experts from Mubea Carbo Tech will take a close look at the usage of composite materials.
The team which does best will win the “Best use of Composites Award” and 500 Euros in cash!
ÖVK Design Award
Again this year, the winners of the engineering design event will be awarded a special prize – in addition to the trophy the highest-scoring team will receive the ÖVK Design Award!
The Award carries a value of 1000 Euros for the first-placed team.

Thanks to our partner AVL we can present you a new award for Formula Student Austria 2013:

The victorious team will get a trophy and
- 2 AVL AST Licenses of their choice (e.g. AVL Boost)
- AVL AST Tool intensive training for up to 2 team members (if required by a AVL Affiliate e.g. in the U.S.)
- Hotel stay during the training
2013 camping information
This year there will again be the possibilety to camp right next to the Red Bull Ring, on the campsite operated by Mr. Moitzi:
The special Rate for Formula Student Austria is 30 Euros per Person and stay (26th – 30th of August) incuding Power, Sanitary facilities and taxes.
The money can either be payed per wire transfer or in cash on site during the registration.
Additional nights outside the event time (early/late arrival/departure) have to be negotiated directly with the campsite operator.
