The first powertrain order was completed in 1998. This project – and the entry into e-mobility 10 years later – was the beginning of a remarkable development. Today PIA Austria is one of the market leaders in the manufacture of production systems for powertrain components such as engines and transmissions. This is why the location with its 400 employees is the powertrain competence center of the PIA Group. Our resource-efficient and energy-saving systems produce components of internal combustion engine as well as electric and hybrid drive systems.
